Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you submit an enquiry through a contact form on the Site, we collect the information you enter. This includes your name, email address and telephone number, and may also include your company name, the content of your message, and any files you choose to upload in support of your enquiry.
Files submitted through our forms may contain technical or commercial material relating to your product. We treat this material as confidential and use it only to assess and respond to your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting and security infrastructure records standard server log data when you visit the Site. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, internet service provider, date and time of access, referring and exit pages, and pages viewed. This data is used for security, troubleshooting and understanding general usage patterns, and is not used to identify individual visitors.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them in two categories:
- Necessary cookies are required for basic Site functionality and security. The Site cannot function properly without them.
- Non-necessary cookies support analytics. These are set only where you have given consent through our cookie banner.
We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, time spent on the Site, approximate location derived from IP address, and the source that referred you. We use this information in aggregate to improve the Site. Google processes this data as described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by declining non-necessary cookies, or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or third-party advertising networks on this Site.
You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time through the cookie settings control on the Site, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the Site works.
Why We Use Your Information
- To respond to enquiries and to communicate with you about a potential or existing project.
- To prepare and perform a contract with you or with the organisation you represent.
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Site.
- To comply with legal, regulatory and accounting obligations that apply to us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. We do not send marketing communications to enquirers unless they have separately asked to receive them.
Legal Basis for Processing
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases, depending on the information concerned and the context in which it was collected:
- Performance of a contract — where processing is necessary to enter into or carry out an agreement with you.
- Consent — where you have given us permission, for example by accepting non-necessary cookies or submitting an enquiry form.
- Legitimate interests — where processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as responding to commercial enquiries and securing our Site, and those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to process information to comply with applicable law.
As an Israeli company, our processing of personal information is also governed by the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and the regulations made under it, including the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Data Security), 5777-2017. We provide the information set out in this Policy so that you can decide, freely and with informed consent, whether to provide your details to us. You are not legally obliged to provide any information, but without it we may be unable to respond to your enquiry.
Who We Share Information With
Enquiries submitted through the Site are received in a central enquiries inbox and are routed internally to the relevant project managers and technical staff so that they can assess and answer your request. Access is limited to employees who need it for that purpose.
Beyond our own personnel, we share personal information only where necessary, and only with:
- Service providers who operate the Site on our behalf. These are our hosting provider, Portal Media; Cloudflare, which provides content delivery and security services; and Google, which provides analytics as described above.
- Group companies, where your enquiry relates to the activity of a Rimoni subsidiary, such as MPE for automotive projects.
- Professional advisers and competent authorities, where we are legally required or permitted to disclose information.
We do not use an external customer relationship management or email marketing platform for enquiries received through this Site.
International Processing
Enquiries you send us are received and handled in Israel. We do not transfer enquiry records to any country for separate commercial processing.
However, some of the infrastructure supporting the Site is operated internationally. Cloudflare delivers and protects the Site through a global network, which means technical request data may be processed outside Israel. Google Analytics data is processed by Google on servers that may be located outside Israel and the European Economic Area. These providers operate under their own data protection frameworks and contractual safeguards.
How Long We Keep Your Information
Enquiries that do not lead to a commercial relationship are retained for 12 months from the date of last contact and are then deleted. Where an enquiry leads to a project or contract, the related information is retained for as long as necessary for that relationship, and thereafter for as long as required to comply with our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce our agreements.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration. These include encrypted transmission of data submitted through the Site, access controls limiting who can view enquiry records, and security services applied at the network level. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Object to processing, or request that we restrict it.
- Request a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will reply within the period required by applicable law.
If you believe we have not handled your information properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority (the Rashut LeHaganat HaPratiut) at the Ministry of Justice. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may also complain to the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
Children
The Site presents industrial and engineering services and is intended for business users. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the Site, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Links to Other Websites
The Site contains links to third-party websites, including social media platforms, mapping services and the websites of customers and partners. This Policy does not apply to those websites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Where changes are material, we will bring them to your attention as required by law.
